 Programme Director: Vanessa Cobb
Vanessa has been designing and delivering interactive training and development courses since 1993, with five years previous HR experience at Shell UK (London), having trained as a presenter and coach in association with her father, the notable finance and leadership trainer and author, Bernard Cobb.
Vanessa has conducted leadership training
and performance coaching with some of the UK's most senior decision
makers from the government sector, the voluntary sector, industry and
commerce. Her wider professional experience includes fund-raising, sports management, financial consultancy and direct sales.
A graduate member of Common Purpose, Vanessa studied Economics at York and Writing with both the Open University and the London School of Journalism. In addition to running Rapid Return Development, Vanessa now serves as Regional Training Director for BNI Devon and Cornwall. She works closely with the Business Education Partnership and is a popular guest speaker for a variety of voluntary and other organisations. Her passion for writing continues and her first novel, The Colour Caster, is due to be published in 2012.
